In a small village of the Rhodopy mountain one of our beneficiaries is breeding the rare spiece of Bulgarian Mountain Bee which is very productive and relisiant to many diseases.  

A young entrepreneur from Sofia started his own company in collecting Bio-waste from dental and physicians offices. His initial ambitious plan was to have 25-30 new contracts each month. Soon after he started though, he realized all the dental offices already have existing annual contracts with other companies and he needs to wait until they expire.. and somehow convince the customers to switch vendor.

A Roma woman from a small village was brave enough to build (yes, physically build) and open her own Internet cafe. She now has several playstations, computers and many plans to expand... She has a plan to buy a pool table, soccer table, darts and many other entertaining machines. She just doesn't have the space for all that!

A car-detailing business in the town of Pazardjik. A young man with 3 children started his own business in 2012. Many things went unexpected, but him and his wife are not giving up and continuing to grow in wisdom, business skills and financial management. They need support now to fully pay off their loan and to buy better and newer equipment which will allow Vasil to work faster and with better quality.

Doncho from Plovdiv has worked for over 15 years in a dry-cleaning supplies business. Finally in 2014 he decided to step out of the company where he was hired and start his own dry-cleaning supplies business. Him and his wife have no other source of income and they rely on the business to raise their 3 children.

A young Roma girl dared to apply for a EU grant to open her own pizza/snacks shop. The shop is located in the small town of Chirpan.

She is a pastor's wife and for many years she had one love - glass! She always wanted to make products from glass - jewlery, plates, ornaments, anything small.. Finally her dream was fulfilled and she is now a happy artist expressing her creative skills in the colorful glass products. Yani Glass

Dimi is arund 60-year old Christian woman from Plovdiv, who has been permanently unemployed. During our training in 2014 she realized her callng is to make handmade knitted toys for children. She started this business from home and is now making each toy with love, passion and satisfaction!

A product for detoxifying the body. The business was started by an ex-drug adding who decided to start a new life and run his own business. He attended our trainings in 2014 and started selling a unique product for detoxifying the body. It is still difficult, but Evlogy is running his business fully legally and is very open to receive council. He is still struglling as the profit is not enough to support his family, but he is firm in his principles and continues in the right direction. www.detoxalit.com

A Roma family opened a snacks kiosk in the town of Pazardjik. The pavilion is the only source of income for the family with 3 wonderful children. Silvya and Stoyan have a great heart for the children and they know personally by name each of their young customers. Additionally, at the end of the day they give away all the left-overs to poor children.

An unemployed Pomac man, former soccer coach started his own soccer club. Cornerstone Foundation financed the business in order to start in 2013 and is currently continuously providing support with free sports equipment.

Gosho is a Roma man, who makes leather products by hand - dog and horse leads, belts. We are currently raising funds to help Gosho buy a specialized leather sawing machine, so he can fabricate the products faster and easier.

Initially started by the father but now taken over by the son Mitko, the business with selling hot-dogs and sweet corn in one of the Roma ghettos is a tramendous help for the family.
